Home care in Towson, Maryland

Towson is a short drive south of our Lutherville office — about ten minutes down York Road — so it’s close to home for us. We provide non-medical home care throughout Towson and its established neighborhoods.

Serving Towson and the surrounding area

We support families in Rodgers Forge, Stoneleigh, Anneslie and Idlewylde, in West Towson and Southland Hills, and in the condominiums and apartments closer to Towson Town Center and the courthouse. Many of these are long-time family homes where an older parent wants to stay put, and home care is what makes that possible.

Towson has two major hospitals — the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) on Charles Street and University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center on Osler Drive — and we can set up care for people coming home from either. We welcome inquiries about one-on-one care for people living in senior communities such as Blakehurst on West Joppa Road and Pickersgill on Chestnut Avenue. Arrangements are confirmed with the resident and community before care starts.

From our Lutherville office a care coordinator can reach anywhere in Towson quickly for the first consultation, and where possible we match caregivers who live nearby, which helps build a consistent local team.

Towson mixes long-held family homes with rental streets near the university, and the walkable core around Allegheny Avenue and the town center gives companion caregivers somewhere pleasant to take a client for a coffee, a haircut or a library visit. On the residential streets of Rodgers Forge and Stoneleigh, the classic brick homes usually have bedrooms and the main bathroom upstairs, so stair safety and bathroom transfers come up often in the care plans we write here.
