Home care in Rockville, Maryland
Selectives Home Care provides non-medical home care throughout Rockville, the Montgomery County seat. We support older adults across Rockville’s neighborhoods so they can keep living in their own homes.
Serving Rockville and the surrounding area
We serve families in King Farm, Twinbrook, Fallsgrove, East Rockville, Lincoln Park, College Gardens, Woodley Gardens, Montrose and the areas around Rockville Town Square and Montgomery College. Rockville mixes older single-family neighborhoods with newer condominium and townhouse communities, and we adapt care to whichever kind of home your family is in.
Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center, just north in Gaithersburg, is the hospital most Rockville families use, and we can arrange care for people coming home from there. We welcome inquiries about one-on-one care for people living in senior communities around Rockville, such as Ingleside at King Farm. Arrangements are confirmed with the resident and community before care starts.
Rockville is roughly fifty-five minutes from our Lutherville office. A coordinator makes that trip for the free in-home consultation, and where possible your regular caregiver is matched from the Montgomery County area.
Rockville and Twinbrook both have Metro stations, and King Farm was built to be walkable, so for clients in those areas a companion caregiver can often handle errands and appointments on foot or by rail. In the older neighborhoods off Veirs Mill Road and around College Gardens, the split-levels and ramblers usually mean a few interior steps and a bathroom that could use a grab bar — things the care-plan visit looks at. Montgomery County also runs strong senior services and community centers, and we’re glad to help a client keep going to a program they value.
